Deception in orbital games: simulation and dissimulation with a maneuverable decoy [PDF]
This paper investigates deception in orbital games, focusing on how maneuverable decoys can manipulate players’ perceptions, forcing them to make probabilistic decisions. This paper distinguishes between physical-level concealment (stealth and camouflage)

Model theoretic forcing in analysis
We present a framework for model theoretic forcing in a non-first-order context, and present some applications of this framework to Banach space theory.

Forcing companions of Jonsson AP-theories [PDF]
This article is devoted to the study of the forcing companions of the Jonsson AP-theories in the enriched signature. It is proved that the forcing companion of the theory does not change when expanding the theories under consideration, which have some ...

Attribution in the presence of a long-memory climate response [PDF]
Multiple, linear regression is employed to attribute variability in the global surface temperature to various forcing components and prominent internal climatic modes. The purpose of the study is to asses how sensitive attribution is to long-range memory

Stochastic Dynamical Modeling of Wind Farm Turbulence
Low-fidelity engineering wake models are often combined with linear superposition laws to predict wake velocities across wind farms under steady atmospheric conditions.

On the dynamic nature of hydrological similarity [PDF]
The increasing diversity and resolution of spatially distributed data on terrestrial systems greatly enhance the potential of hydrological modeling.

Response of bedrock channel width to tectonic forcing: Insights from a numerical model, theoretical considerations, and comparison with field data [PDF]
The morphology of bedrock river channels is controlled by climatic and tectonic conditions and substrate properties. Knowledge of tectonic controls remains scarce. This is partly due to slow tectonic rates and long response times of natural channels and partly due to the difficulty in isolating and constraining tectonic forcing conditions in the field.

The evolution of sexes: A specific test of the disruptive selection theory
The disruptive selection theory of the evolution of anisogamy posits that the evolution of a larger body or greater organismal complexity selects for a larger zygote, which in turn selects for larger gametes.

Hydrological Model Diversity Enhances Streamflow Forecast Skill at Short‐ to Medium‐Range Timescales
We investigate the ability of hydrological multimodel ensemble predictions to enhance the skill of streamflow forecasts at short‐ to medium‐range timescales.
