ABSTRACT Background This study investigated how neighborhood‐level social determinants of health (SDOH), including redlining and neurological risk, interact to influence cognitive outcomes in children treated for brain tumors (CTBT). Methods A retrospective chart review of 161 CTBT aged 5–17 was conducted.

Extracting Models from Web API Documentation [PDF]
In order to develop web mashups, designers need an in-depth understanding of each Web API they are using. However, Web API documentation is rather heterogeneous, represented by big HTML files or collection of files in which it is difficult to identify elements such as API methods and how they can be invoked.

Mapping the evolution of mitochondrial complex I through structural variation
Respiratory complex I (CI) is crucial for bioenergetic metabolism in many prokaryotes and eukaryotes. It is composed of a conserved set of core subunits and additional accessory subunits that vary depending on the organism. Here, we categorize CI subunits from available structures to map the evolution of CI across eukaryotes. Respiratory complex I (CI)

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Evaluation of automatic hypernym extraction from technical corpora in English and Dutch [PDF]
In this research, we evaluate different approaches for the automatic extraction of hypernym relations from English and Dutch technical text. The detected hypernym relations should enable us to semantically structure automatically obtained term lists from

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative
