Wavelength‐Dependent Photobiomodulation Regulates Macrophage Polarization via Mitochondrial Dynamics and Metabolic Reprogramming

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Light wavelength encodes distinct macrophage fates through mitochondrial and metabolic remodeling. Red 625 nm irradiation induces glycolysis, mitochondrial fission, and M1 polarization, whereas near‐infrared 850 nm irradiation promotes fatty acid oxidation, mitochondrial fusion, and M2 polarization.

Lessons From Drug Discovery for Cryoprotective Agent Design: An AI‐Oriented Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cryoprotectant design is reframed through the lens of drug discovery as a multiparameter optimization problem. This perspective highlights how AI and systematic design strategies could enable safer, more effective cryoprotectants, while identifying key limitations that currently constrain predictive progress in cryobiology. ABSTRACT Cryopreservation is

Emerging Materials and Future Strategies for Solid Oxide Electrochemical Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Solid oxide electrochemical cells operate under strongly coupled electrochemical and thermodynamic conditions, where performance is constrained by interactions among crystal structure, defect chemistry, and interfacial evolution. This review, based on a structure‐defect‐property‐durability framework, reveals the roles of lattice symmetry and defect ...

Understanding context: leveraging the pragmatic robust implementation sustainability model to inform the implementation of a community-based southeastern preconception counseling intervention to improve maternal health equity

open access: yesDiscover Health Systems
One major preconception risk driving poor childbirth outcomes in Black/African American women is cardiovascular health. Preconception counseling (PC) can reduce maternal health inequities, prevent fatal cardiovascular conditions, and improve the overall health of mothers before, during, and after pregnancy.

From Design to Management: Exploring BIM’s Role across Project Lifecycles, Dimensions, Data, and Uses, with Emphasis on Facility Management

open access: yesBuildings
The importance of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in construction and facility operation is unquestionable, but there is a clear discrepancy between the data included in as-built BIM models and the expected use specified by customers. This disparity

Determinants of Knowledge and Usage of Generative Artificial Intelligence in Agricultural Extension: Evidence From Tennessee Extension Personnel

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper examines the determinants of generative AI (GenAI) knowledge and usage among agricultural extension professionals. Drawing on survey data from agricultural extension personnel in Tennessee, we employ regression analyses and latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) for topic modeling of open‐ended responses to study the knowledge and usage ...

In search of pragmatic measures and models from routinely collected electronic records to inform continuous optimization of antibiotics stewardship at primary care settings: preliminary findings from Anhui, China

open access: yesBMC Infectious Diseases
Antimicrobial resistance caused by inappropriate antibiotic use has become a global public health crisis. The majority of antibiotics are prescribed at primary care settings which often lack sufficient capacity and surveillance. This study aimed at identifying and testing pragmatic measures and models derived from routinely collected electronic records
