Abstract Neglecting age-structure, but taking into account matings with differential fertility in Mendelian reproduction, continuous selective models are formulated for a single locus with an arbitrary number of alleles, with or without distinguishing the sexes, and for two alleles at each of two loci in a monoecious population. In each case, without

Model Selection For Geostatistical Models
Ecological Applications, 2006We consider the problem of model selection for geospatial data. Spatial correlation is often ignored in the selection of explanatory variables, and this can influence model selection results. For example, the importance of particular explanatory variables may not be apparent when spatial correlation is ignored.

Bayesian Model Selection and Model Averaging
Journal of Mathematical Psychology, 2000This paper reviews the Bayesian approach to model selection and model averaging. In this review, I emphasize objective Bayesian methods based on noninformative priors. I will also discuss implementation details, approximations, and relationships to other methods.
