Modeling Control and Forecasting Nonlinear Systems Based on Grey Signal Theory

International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems, 2023
Based on this article, a fuzzy NN (neural network) based on the EBA (evolved bat algorithm) was developed to devise adaptive control with gray signal prediction to provide asymptomatic stability and increased driving comfort. The method is used to assess plant nonlinearity and to perform structural tracking of the signal.

On the concept of the “control systems theory” as a new model of systemic consideration

Kybernetes, 2008
PurposeThis paper sets out to provide a new systems theory supporting requisite holism and innovation in organizations of the public sector, such as medical care.Design/methodology/approachMulej's dialectical systems theory is applied.FindingsCurrently, the many existing systems theories are applied in separation rather than in synergy.

Modeling and control of a sorption process using 2D systems theory

The 2011 International Workshop on Multidimensional (nD) Systems, 2011
This paper introduces a model for the dynamics of a sorption process from the industrial water supply and sewage treatment industries that is a continuous version of the Roesser state-space model for 2D discrete systems. Conditions for unique solvability and the representation formula are then developed together with the solution of an optimization ...

Overall theory model system about externality controlling

2010 International Conference on Computer Application and System Modeling (ICCASM 2010), 2010
Externality controlling is important problem in environmental protection. And, the overall model of externality controlling is very rare during relative studies. For attempting to guide externality management, the paper tried to create a theory-model of externality controlling using target programming method, and, created relative coordinate figure. At

Modeling Distributed Control Systems response time: from theory to measures

2020 IEEE 16th International Conference on Control & Automation (ICCA), 2020
As producer and designer of electricity production plants, Electricité de France must demonstrate that the critical systems have a limited response time. Particularly in the nuclear industry, a reliable upper bound for the response time must be calculated. In this paper, we present an implementation of an analytical evaluation of the response time of a

Graph-Theory-Based Modeling and Control for System-Level Optimization of Smart Transformers

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2020
Smart transformers offer the possibility to reduce the costs related to the integration of renewables and charging station into the grid and are gaining industrial interests. Grid system operators request modularity for easy maintenance and power scalability. Normally, the power is shared equally in the modular structure.

Models and theories of the environmental control system

Renewable Energy, 1994
Abstract Concepts and modes of the environmental control system in buildings have been reviewed, and their strengths and weaknesses have been identified. The paper reports on the criticism levelled against conventional models of environmental control for considering only the passive mode of control and ignoring active control, which results from the ...

Applications of Lie Group Theory to the Modeling and Control of Multibody Systems

Multibody System Dynamics, 1999
The author presents a method for using Lie group theory for the modeling and control of open-loop rigid-joint or elastic-joint mechanical systems. The governing equations are given in a vector parametric form suited for the application of Lie algebra methods.

Control of complex sociotechnical systems: Importance of causal models and game theory

Computers & Chemical Engineering, 2019
Abstract Recent systemic failures in different domains have reminded us, once again, of the fragility of complex sociotechnical systems. Although the failures occurred in very different domains, there are, however, certain common underlying mechanisms driving these disasters.

Advances in the Theory of Control, Signals and Systems with Physical Modeling

2011
In the 60's, control, signals and systems had a common linear algebraic background and, according to their evolution, their respective backgrounds have now dramatically differed. Recovering such a common background, especially in the nonlinear context, is currently a fully open question.
