A less‐conservative stability criterion for networked control systems with time‐varying packet delays

open access: yesIET Control Theory & Applications, 2021
A networked output feedback loop subject to packetized transmissions of the output signal is considered. Based on the small gain theorem, an easy‐to‐use stability criterion covering two important cases is presented.

Testing agile requirements models [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Zhejiang University-SCIENCE A, 2004
This paper discusses a model-based approach to validate software requirements in agile development processes by simulation and in particular automated testing. The use of models as central development artifact needs to be added to the portfolio of software engineering techniques, to further increase efficiency and flexibility of the development ...

Comparison of the Behavior for Free Standing Pile Group and Piles of Piled Raft [PDF]

open access: yesEngineering and Technology Journal, 2018
The intended task of this paper is studying the behavior of free standing pile groups and piles of piled raft driven in clayey soil under axial loading. The raft-piles interaction is investigated as well through the two series of tests. Each one of these

Gravitational microlensing as a test of stellar model atmospheres [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
We present calculations illustrating the potential of gravitational microlensing to discriminate between classical models of stellar surface brightness profiles and the recently computed ``Next Generation'' models of Hauschildt et al.

Testing Nonnested Models [PDF]

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Agricultural Economics, 1993
AbstractApplied economic research often involves testing between nonnested models. In such situations informal criteria are often used in preference to readily available testing procedures. This article deals with regression‐based tests between nonnested models, showing the development of the J‐ and JA‐tests from the Cox principle.
