Modelisation der populationsdynamik eines zitrusschädlings
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1977Summary A pest population dynamics model is presented for the white citrus fly. This time continuous model describes the population state by an age-density function in each stage and its evolution by age, stage-change and laying equations. Special attention vas paid for making clear the influence of both temperature and crop development on the ...

Modelisation of dense avalanches
1995In this paper, the main points of the model have been stressed first by displaying assumptions and the method which allowed the equations of motion to be found, then by giving an idea of the method used for the numerical resolution, and finally by giving a survey of the methodology of adjustment and its use in important sites. This model il still being

Hypermedia exercises prototyping and modelising
1996With the aim of providing tools and methodology for autonomous learning, the CAFIM has decided to produce prototypes of hypermedia exercises with progressive help and experiments in a virtual laboratory. Two prototypes are described, respectively in mathematics and physics. In these exercises, the learner is guided toward the answer by progressive help,

Stochastic Modelisation and Parallel Computing
1991In this paper we present the parallelization of the code “MIXAGE” 3D on the T-Node tandem of JRC-Ispra. This code solves numerically parabolic systems of partial differential equations. These equations, which govern many physical, chemical or biological phenomena, describe time-dependent diffusion in heterogeneous media.

Modelisation of Co-operative Work
1999Nowadays, there is an increasing interest in user co-operation and the different ways of accomplishing user tasks. Users share a common scenario sinudtarreously. In such systems, we must take into account technological aspects as well as human factors.
