Moderate Deviations for Bayes Posteriors
Scandinavian Journal of Statistics, 2002Let (Xk)k∈ be a sequence of i.i.d. random variables taking values in a set ω, and consider the problem of estimating the law of X1 in a Bayesian framework. We prove, under mild conditions on the prior, that the sequence of posterior distributions satisfies a moderate deviation principle.

On Probabilities of Moderate Deviations
Journal of Mathematical Sciences, 2002The author investigates the asymptotic behaviour of the distribution of a sum of independent random variables in zones of moderate deviations. Sufficient conditions are presented, in terms of moments, for the normal convergence in these zones. The author uses a generalization of the Esseen inequality for the remainder term in the central limit theorem.

In this paper we study necessary and sufficient conditions for the validity of limit theorems on moderate deviations. Moreover we analyse the remainder term appearing in the asymptotic relations.
