Kinematically Moderately Nonlinear Theory
2013The derivation of the kinematics of the kinematically moderately nonlinear case follows exactly the same line, we will not redo that part of the foundation.

Temporal stability as a moderator of relationships in the Theory of Planned Behaviour
British Journal of Social Psychology, 2000Temporal stability of behavioural intentions and perceived behavioural control (PBC) within the Theory of Planned Behaviour were examined as moderators of the cognition‐behaviour relationships in two studies. Study 1 ( N =201) examined attendance at health screening appointment (infrequently ...

Theory of Moderately Concentrated Polymer Solutions
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1965The transition between the theories of the thermodynamic properties of dilute and concentrated polymer solutions is investigated using the random-flight model with explicit consideration of segment—segment interactions. It begins with a qualitative discussion of the transition. Supposing the individual segments, instead of the entire polymer molecules,

Applying the Discourse Theory to the Moderator’s Interferences in Web Debates
2009This paper presents a methodology for supporting the moderation phase in DCC (Democratic Citizenship Community), a virtual community for supporting e-democratic processes in e-life systems and applications. Based on the Government-Citizen Interactive Model, the DCC encompasses an innovative debate structure, as well as the moderator’s participation ...

Implicit Theories of the World and Implicit Theories of the Self as Moderators of Self-Stereotyping
Social Cognition, 2010Self-stereotyping involves aligning one's self-perception with the ingroup characteristics and norms, and is arguably a manifestation of a general process to fit oneself in the world. We predicted that this general process should be most salient if the individuals believe in a fixed world and also a malleable self.

On a moderate rotation theory of laminated anisotropic shells—Part 1. Theory
International Journal of Non-Linear Mechanics, 1990Abstract A moderate rotation theory of laminated anisotropic shells, proposed by Schmidt and Reddy [ J. appl. Mech . 55 , 611–617.1988], is developed and its application is presented. All aspects of the derivations are explicitly developed and specific forms of the equations are derived in this part.

Theory for Moderately Large Deflections of Thin Sandwich Shells
Journal of Applied Mechanics, 1965This paper presents equations which govern moderately large deflections of thin sandwich shells. These equations account for the bending resistance of the facings and orthotropy; they are compared with previous formulations.

An asymptotic theory for the moderately large deflections of anisotropic plates
Journal of Engineering Mathematics, 1969In this paper a first approximation theory for the moderately large deflections of anisotropic plates is derived. The method used is that of asymptotic integration of a non-linear set of elasticity equations. Higher order systems can be derived in a systematic manner. For an isotropic material, the derived equations reduce to the von Karman equations.
