Application of Machine Learning in the Diagnosis and Prognosis of Mild Traumatic Brain Injury Using Diffusion Tensor Imaging: A Systematic Review

open access: yesJournal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Volume 63, Issue 2, Page 328-345, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) is a global health concern, with mild TBI (mTBI) being the most common form. Despite its prevalence, accurately diagnosing mTBI remains a significant challenge. While advanced neuroimaging techniques like diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) offer promise for more robust diagnosis, their clinical application ...

Strengths and Limitations of Statistical and Dynamical Downscaling for the Representation of Compound Dry and Hot Events Over Spain

open access: yesInternational Journal of Climatology, Volume 46, Issue 2, February 2026.
Statistical and dynamical downscaling methods are tested for their reproduction of compound dry‐hot events, using three representatives of each category. Statistical methods are found to better detect when they are produced, whereas dynamical downscaling better simulates their distribution over the whole period.

Unified Analytic Framework for Thickness‐Dependent Transport and Trap‐State Modulation in Ultrathin W:In2O3 Field‐Effect Transistors

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 7, Issue 2, February 2026.
We present a unified analytic framework linking subthreshold and above‐threshold conduction in oxide field‐effect transistors by decomposing the drain current into band transport, tail‐state percolation, and interface‐trap diffusion components. Parameter correlation and identifiability analyses enable robust extraction of physical metrics, yielding ...
