Observational Constraints on Kinetic Gravity Braiding from the Integrated Sachs-Wolfe Effect
The cross-correlation between the integrated Sachs-Wolfe (ISW) effect and the large scale structure (LSS) is a powerful tool to constrain dark energy and alternative theories of gravity.

Wave propagation in modified gravity
We investigate the propagation of scalar waves induced by matter sources in the context of scalar-tensor theories of gravity which include screening mechanisms for the scalar degree of freedom. The usual approach when studying these theories in the non-linear regime of cosmological perturbations is based on the assumption that scalar waves travel at ...

Synergistic interfacial strategy between inorganic ceramic fillers and polymer chains effectively inhibit particle aggregation and interfacial incompatibility. complex covalent and non‐covalent interfacial interactions promote superior uniformity, ultra‐high ceramic filler loading, and strong grain‐to‐grain connectivity, thereby enabling the ...

Halo models in modified gravity theories with self-accelerated expansion
We investigate the structure of halos in the sDGP (self-accelerating branch of the Dvali-Gavadadze-Porrati braneworld gravity) model and the galileon modified gravity model on the basis of the static and spherically symmetric solutions of the ...

The strong gravitational field near massive blackhole is an interesting regime to test General Relativity (GR) and modified gravity theories. The knowledge of spacetime metric around a blackhole is a primary step for such tests.

Horizon entropy in modified gravity [PDF]
We present an observation about the proposal that four-dimensional modification of general relativity may explain the observed cosmic acceleration today. Assuming that the thermodynamical nature of gravity theory continues to hold in modified gravity theories, we derive the modified horizon entropy formula from the modified Friedmann equation. We argue

Triblock Polymer Engineering Enables Hydration‐Rich, High‐Performance, Fouling‐Resistant Interfaces
A molecularly engineered triblock polymer (PHZ) rapidly reorganizes into a hydration‐rich interfacial layer on diverse surfaces, strongly suppressing hydrophobic attraction and fouling. The triblock polymer provides robust energy and steric barriers to oily foulants, enabling high‐performance antifouling at ultralow dosage.

New classes of modified teleparallel gravity models
New classes of modified teleparallel theories of gravity are introduced. The action of this theory is constructed to be a function of the irreducible parts of torsion f(Tax,Tten,Tvec), where Tax,Tten and Tvec are squares of the axial, tensor and vector ...

Modified gravity makes galaxies brighter
We investigate the effect of modifed gravity with screening mechanisms, such as the chameleon or symmetron models, upon the structure of main sequence stars. We find that unscreened stars can be significantly more luminous and ephemeral than their screened doppelgangers.

This review maps how MOFs can manage hazardous gases by combining adsorption, neutralization, and reutilization, enabling sustainable air‐pollution control. Covering chemical warfare agent simulants, SO2, NOx, NH3, H2S, and volatile organic compounds, it highlights structure‐guided strategies that boost selectivity, water tolerance, and cycling ...
