Lactate‐Driven Restriction of Mitochondrial Permeability Transition Promotes Resistance to Chemo‐Immunotherapy by Suppressing Tumor PANoptosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tumor‐derived lactate establishes a metabolic lock that drives chemo‐immunotherapy resistance by suppressing PANoptosis. Mechanistically, KAT8 lactylates the mitochondrial translocator ANT2, which recruits PGAM5 to dephosphorylate CypD. This cascade restricts mitochondrial permeability transition pore opening, preventing pro‐inflammatory mtDNA leakage.

Calcineurin‐Dependent Stress Adaptation Enables Caspofungin Heteroresistance Leading to Stable Resistance in Candida Glabrata

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Caspofungin heteroresistance is prevalent in clinical Candida glabrata isolates and depends on calcineurin‐mediated stress adaptation. This transient phenotype serves as a reservoir for resistance evolution, enabling the emergence of stable resistant descendants under prolonged drug pressure.

The Stability of a Modified Jungck-Mann Hybrid Fixed Point Iteration Procedure

open access: yes, 2018
In this paper, we prove some stability results for sequences of nonself mappings using a modified Jungck-Mann hybrid iterative procedure in aBanach space by employing a class of generalized contractive-like definition.

Fatty Acid Binding Protein 5 Mediates Astrocytic Pyroptosis and Neuroinflammation in Epilepsy via cGAS/STING Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Astrocytic FABP5 promotes mitochondrial stress, cGAS‐STING pathway activation, pyroptosis, and neuroinflammation in epilepsy, contributing to seizure pathology. Genetic targeting of FABP5 or pharmacological inhibition of STING alleviates epileptic phenotypes, highlighting a potential therapeutic strategy for epilepsy.

Gel‐Amin for Improving Extracellular Recordings of Cardiomyocytes in a 3D Microphysiological System

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This work combines a conductive collagen‐based hydrogel with a laser‐cut and assembly technique to fabricate microphysiological systems that improve extracellular recordings of cardiomyocytes in 3D on microelectrode arrays. The inclusion of choline acrylate into GelMA imparts a higher electrical conductivity and improves the signal‐to‐noise ratio of on‐

Modified Fast Inertial‐Type Krasnosel’skii‐Mann Iterative Scheme Involving Asymptotically Nonexpansive Mapping

open access: yesComputational and Mathematical Methods
It is our aim to propose a new iterative algorithm with an inertial term involving asymptotically nonexpansive mapping in the framework of Hilbert spaces. Let T : H ⟶ H be asymptotically nonexpansive mapping with

A modified Mann iterative scheme based on the generalized explicit methods for quasi-nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces

open access: yesAdvances in the Theory of Nonlinear Analysis and its Application, 2019
In this paper,  we  introduce and study a new iterative algorithm which is a combination of a modified Mann iterative scheme and a generalized    explicit methods (GEM) for finding  a common  fixed points of an infinite family of  quasi-nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces.

Towards Real‐Time Monitoring of Soft Robotic Systems in Endoscopic Application With Ultra‐Flexible Organic Transistor‐Based Strain Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
The integration of ultra‐flexible, all‐organic, field‐effect transistor‐based strain sensors to soft structures is reported for the development of sensorized soft robots. The envisaged application is the development of next‐generation, controllable, and observable soft robotic catheters for endoscopic applications, such as drug delivery. Mechanical and
