Convergence in norm of modified Krasnoselski–Mann iterations for fixed points of demicontractive mappings

Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2011
Let \(H\) be a real Hilbert space, and \(T:H\to H\) be an operator fulfilling {\parindent9mm\begin{itemize}\item[(c1)] \(T\) is \(k\)-demicontractive, for some \(k< 1\); \item[(c2)] \(\text{Fix}(T)\) is nonempty; \item[(c3)] \(I-T\) is demiclosed at \(0\). \end{itemize}} Further, let \((\alpha_n)\), \((\beta_n)\) be two nonnegative sequences satisfying

Modified Mann iterative algorithms by hybrid projection methods for nonexpansive semigroups and mixed equilibrium problems

Journal of Applied Analysis, 2012
Summary: In this paper, we propose a modified Mann iterative algorithm by two hybrid projection methods for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of nonexpansive semigroups and the set of solutions of a mixed equilibrium problem in a real Hilbert space.

The Stability of a Modified Jungck-Mann Hybrid Fixed Point Iteration Procedure

International Journal of Mathematical Sciences and Optimization: Theory and Applications, 2023
In this paper, we prove some stability results for sequences of nonself mappings using a modified Jungck-Mann hybrid iterative procedure in a Banach space by employing a class of generalized contractive-like definition. As corollaries, some stability results of Jungck (pair of maps) and Picard (single map) iterative procedures are also established. Our

Strong Convergence of Modified Mann Iterations by Yamada's Hybrid Method for Strict Pseudo-Contractions in Hilbert Spaces

2010 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Software Engineering, 2010
In this paper,we use the Yamada's method to modify the normal Mann's iterative process to have strong convergence for a $k-$strictly pseudo-contractive mapping in the framework of Hilbert spaces.
