Thermoresponsive and Flow Behavior of Hyperbranched Polymers From ATRP Inimer

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, Volume 63, Issue 23, Page 5115-5130, 1 December 2025.
We present a library of hyperbranched polymers with tunable viscosity, thermal transitions, and degradability. Using a bifunctional inimer, we control polymer architecture to study flow behavior and thermoresponsive properties. Compared to linear analogs, these polymers show lower viscosity, stable flow across concentrations, and selective degradation,

Electrically Conductive Nanocarbon/Elastomer Composite Inks for Flexible and Wearable Strain Sensing

open access: yesSmall, Volume 21, Issue 50, December 17, 2025.
An eco‐friendly ink combining carbon nano‐onions, carbon nanotubes, and a SEBS elastomer is formulated in biomass‐derived 2‐MeTHF. Dip‐coated and blade‐coated strain sensors show high conductivity, mechanical flexibility, and stable performance under repeated compression and tension.

Impact of Impeller Operation on the Mixing Efficiency of Kanbara Reactors

open access: yessteel research international, Volume 96, Issue 12, Page 142-153, December 2025.
This article describes an application of computational fluid dynamics technique to simulate the Kanbara Reactors in the ironmaking process. This study looks into the effect of impeller rotation direction and impeller location on the velocity fluctuations, mixing efficiency, and wall shear stress.

Almost Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Representing Gravity in Global Models but Were Afraid to Ask

open access: yesJournal of Advances in Modeling Earth Systems, Volume 17, Issue 12, December 2025.
Abstract For over 60 years, an approximation involving spherical geopotentials has underlain the representation of gravity in global numerical models of Earth's atmosphere and oceans. This article explores how departures from sphericity can be allowed by assuming spheroidal geopotentials instead. A route to more accurate model formulation is indicated,

3D‐printed magnesium/nanodiamond dual‐doped hydroxyapatite composite hydrogels with antibacterial and in vitro bioactive properties for bone tissue engineering

open access: yesJournal of the American Ceramic Society, Volume 108, Issue 12, December 2025.
Abstract Bone regeneration remains a critical challenge in personalized healthcare, particularly when combating bacterial infections that impede healing. While various scaffold systems have been developed, the combination of magnesium and nanodiamond dual‐doped hydroxyapatite (MgND‐HAp) with natural polymers in a 3D‐printable format, offering both ...
