ARMENDARIZ MODULES AND NILTORSIONLESS MODULES
Mathematical Reports, 2023In this paper, we introduce the concepts niltorsionless modules and NSmodules (which are generalisations of NI-rings). We prove that the class of niltorsionless modules contains the classes of semiprime and in particular, the class of regular modules ...

SEMIDUALIZING MODULES AND RELATED MODULES
Journal of Algebra and Its Applications, 2011In this paper, we prove that the Bass class [Formula: see text] with respect to a semidualizing bimodule C contains all FP-injective S-modules. We introduce the definition of C-FP-injective modules, and give some characterizations of right coherent rings in terms of the C-flat S-modules and C-FP-injective S op -modules.

Photoelastic modulator: polarization modulation and phase modulation
Journal of Optics, 1995Photoelastic modulators are studied here as both birefringence (or polarization) and phase modulators. In the first part of this work we have determined the influences of time dependent variations of index and thickness, for an ideal modulator where oscillation is supposed to be perfectly longitudinal.

On the module of homomorphisms into projective modules and multiplication modules
Periodica Mathematica Hungarica, 1996Let \(A\) and \(B\) be modules over a commutative ring \(R\), and let \(\pi(A,B)\) denote the image of the evaluation map of \(\Hom (A,B) \otimes A\) into \(B\). Let \(T(A)\) denote \(\pi(A,R)\), the trace ideal of \(A\). The authors observe that \(\pi(A,B) =T(A) \cdot B\) whenever \(T(A) \cdot A=A\), in which case \(\pi(A,B)\) is a pure submodule of \(

Because large-scale software development is a struggle against internal program complexity, the modules into which programs are divided play a central role in software engineering. A module encapsulating a data type allows the programmer to ignore both the details of its operations, and of its value representations.

Spatial modulation (SM) is a recently developed transmission technique that uses multiple antennas. The basic idea is to map a block of information bits to two information carrying units: 1) a symbol that was chosen from a constellation diagram and 2) a unique transmit antenna number that was chosen from a set of transmit antennas.
