Wearable Haptic Feedback Interfaces for Augmenting Human Touch

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The wearable haptic feedback interfaces enhance user experience in gaming, social media, biomedical instrumentation, and robotics by generating tactile sensations. This review discusses and categorizes current haptic feedback interfaces into force, thermal, and electrotactile stimulation‐based haptic feedback interfaces, elucidating their current ...

The Route to Artery Mimetics: Hybrid Bioinks for Embedded Bioprinting of Multimaterial Cylindrical Models

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The fabrication of a cellularized, multilayered 3D printed cylindrical model comprising hybrid bioinks inspired by the natural extracellular environment as an approach to artery mimetics, is presented. Using embedded bioprinting, interlayer crosslinking of self‐supporting concentric cylinders is achieved.

DESIGN OF A MODULAR KITCHEN FURNITURE

open access: yesJournal of Industrial Design and Engineering Graphics, 2017
The kitchen was one of the most important rooms in the past; even if the initial houses had one room with multiple functions, in time, the kitchen got separated from the other rooms, it begins to have a certain purpose, and a well-established function. Experiencing an impressive evolution throughout the ages, the kitchen manages to become indispensable

Electricity Generation From Ambient Water Evaporation in the Absence of Sunlight via PVA‐Based Porous Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this article, a water‐evaporation driven energy harvester is devised that works even in the absence of sunlight. This is achieved by combining PVA hydrogel with thermoelectrics (TEG) to directly capture energy from water evaporation. Under mild conditions (RH 40%, T of 26 °C, and 2.8 m s−1 wind), 1.71 mW (1.02 W m−2) power can be generated, >3 fold ...
