STUDY ON MODULAR HOUSES DESIGN
In the field of civil engineering, in the last period emerged and developed the idea of modular constructions, which is in consensus with the alert rhythm of the present times that we are going through, while responding to the requirement of economic ...

Exploration of floral motifs for modular textile and apparel design
This study investigates the application of floral motifs in a modular design framework for textile and garment production. The modular design philosophy allows for the construction of adaptable and useful clothes by assembling small, standardised pieces.

Structural insights and therapeutic targets in Acinetobacter baumannii capsule biosynthesis
Hypervirulent KL49 A. baumannii's capsular polysaccharide contains the nonulosonic acid 8‐epi‐Leg5,7Ac2, synthesized by epimerization via ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC. Crystal structures of ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC reveal their role in CMP‐Leg5,7Ac2 synthesis and regioselective C8 epimerization.

On embeddability of modular robot designs [PDF]
We address the problem of detecting embeddability of modular robots: namely, to decide automatically whether a given modular robot design can simulate the functionality of a seemingly different design. To that end, we introduce a novel graph representation for modular robots and formalize the notion of embedding through topological and kinematic ...

Reconstructing enzyme evolution by protein engineering
Natural enzyme evolution can be retraced by protein engineering methods such as directed evolution, rational design, and ancestral sequence reconstruction. These approaches reveal how enzymes emerged from ligand‐binding scaffolds, developed varying substrate preferences, formed oligomeric complexes, adapted to environmental changes, and evolved novel ...

Conserved binding mode but diverse interfaces of MreC‐PBP2 interactions
The crystal structure of abMreC reveals a conserved two β‐barrel architecture and provides structural insights into its role within the bacterial elongasome. The abMreC–abPBP2 complex model identifies the molecular basis of MreC‐mediated PBP2 recognition, contributing to the regulation of peptidoglycan synthesis.

Engineering peptides into antibodies—opportunities and strategies for therapeutic innovation
Peptides and antibodies occupy complementary therapeutic niches. Peptides recognize difficult targets in a compact format, while antibodies add specificity, long half‐life, and effector functions. This review examines strategies that merge both modalities—peptide grafting into loops, terminal and Fc fusions, and bioconjugation—highlighting how ...
