Mock modular forms as $p$-adic modular forms [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 2010
In this paper, we consider the question of correcting mock modular forms in order to obtain $p$-adic modular forms. In certain cases we show that a mock modular form $M^+$ is a $p$-adic modular form.

Modular Forms and Weierstrass Mock Modular Forms [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics, 2016
Alfes, Griffin, Ono, and Rolen have shown that the harmonic Maass forms arising from Weierstrass ζ-functions associated to modular elliptic curves “encode” the vanishing and nonvanishing for central values and derivatives of twisted Hasse-Weil L ...

Perfectoid Drinfeld Modular Forms [PDF]

open access: yesJournal de théorie des nombres de Bordeaux, 2022
In the first part, we revisit Drinfeld modular curves associated to GL ( 2 ) from the perfectoid point of view, and we show how ...

A Conjecture of Han on 3-Cores and Modular Forms

open access: yesMathematics, 2014
In his study of Nekrasov–Okounkov type formulas on “partition theoretic” expressions for families of infinite products, Han discovered seemingly unrelated q-series that are supported on precisely the same terms as these infinite products.

Experimental Study on the Natural Dynamic Characteristics of Steel-Framed Modular Structures

open access: yesBuildings, 2022
Corner-supported modular structures are made of repetitive prefurnished, prefinished modular units, which are fabricated in a factory and transported to the site of a building to form a permanent building block.

Quantum Invariant, Modular Form, and Lattice Points [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
We study the Witten--Reshetikhin--Turaev SU(2) invariant for the Seifert manifold with 4-singular fibers. We define the Eichler integrals of the modular forms with half-integral weight, and we show that the invariant is rewritten as a sum of the Eichler ...

Form Factors, Thermal States and Modular Structures [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
Form factor sequences of an integrable QFT can be defined axiomatically as solutions of a system of recursive functional equations, known as ``form factor equations''.

Moduli inflation from modular flavor symmetries

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
We study slow-roll inflation model controlled by the modular flavor symmetry. In the model, the modulus field plays a role of inflaton and the introduction of the stabilizer field coupled to a modular form in the superpotential produces the inflaton ...

Modular Forms and Three Loop Superstring Amplitudes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We study a proposal of D'Hoker and Phong for the chiral superstring measure for genus three. A minor modification of the constraints they impose on certain Siegel modular forms leads to a unique solution.

Modular Forms on Hecke's Modular Groups [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1973
Let H={-r=x+iy:y>0}. Let A>0, k>O, y=I1. Let M(Q, k, y) denote the set of functions f for which f(r)= .D=o ane2'i"rli and f(-1/T)=y(&/i)kf(T), for all T r H. Let MO(A, k, y) denote the set of feM(A, k. y) for which f((T)=O(yc) uniformly for all x as y-+, for some real c.
