ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Multiple sclerosis (MS) exhibits racially disparate rates of disease progression. Black people with MS (B‐PwMS) experience a more severe disease course than non‐Hispanic White people with MS (NHW‐PwMS). Here we investigated structural and functional connectivity as well as structure–function decoupling in the ...

Meir-Keeler type contractions on modular metric spaces
In this paper we introduce contraction mappings of Meir-Keeler types on modular metric spaces and investigate the existence and uniqueness of their fixed points. We give an example which demonstrates our theoretical results.

Diffusion‐Weighted Imaging for the Evaluation of the Sacroiliac Joint in Pediatric Patients
Objective Maturational signal in the sacroiliac joint (SIJ) of skeletally immature youth is often misinterpreted as inflammation. Diagnostic tools that improve specificity are greatly needed. Apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values from diffusion‐weighted imaging (DWI), when used with standard imaging, may enhance diagnostic accuracy.

Geometric and analytic quasiconformality in metric measure spaces
We prove the equivalence between geometric and analytic definitions of quasiconformality for a homeomorphism $f\colon X\rightarrow Y$ between arbitrary locally finite separable metric measure spaces, assuming no metric hypotheses on either space. When $X$

On some non-linear contractions in modular metric spaces
Motivated by the exciting notion of modular metric spaces, in this manuscript, we positively answer an open question posed by Mitrovic et al. [Ital. J. Pure Appl. Math., 41 (2019), 679-690] on the existence of fixed points of Hardy-Rogers contractions. Moreover, in the said setting, we conceive the common fixed point theorem of Jungck.

ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...

FIXED POINT THEOREMS FOR MULTIVALUED MAPPINGS IN MODULAR B-METRIC SPACES
This paper explores multivalued mappings in modular b-metric spaces, with particular emphasis on contraction-type mappings. It introduces the concept of a Hausdorff distance adapted to this setting and investigates fixed point theorems associated with ...

Weak contractive integral inequalities and fixed points in modular metric spaces
Branciari (Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 29(9):531-536, 2002) gave an interesting supplement of Banach’s contraction principle for an integral-type inequality.

Fixed Point Results in Modular b-Metric-like Spaces with an Application
In this study, we introduce a new space called the modular b-metric-like space. We investigate some properties of this new concept and define notions of ξ-convergence, ξ-Cauchy sequence, ξ-completeness and ξ-contraction.
