Automatic Modulation Classification in the Presence of Interference

2019 European Conference on Networks and Communications (EuCNC), 2019
A modulation recognition method based on a con-volutional neural network (CNN) architecture is assessed through classification of synthetic baseband signals in the presence of a second interfering signal source. The complexity and adaptability of CNNs is leveraged so as to forgo statistical feature extraction procedures and efficiently classify based ...

Spatial light modulator for texture classification

Applied Optics, 1989
This paper describes a hybrid computer-optical processor devoted to the analysis of texture. Textures are displayed on a spatial light modulator and their power spectra are calculated optically by a Fourier optical technique. A video camera and a computer with a frame digitizer process the power spectra.

Image Classification Based on IndCRNN Module

Proceedings of the 2020 4th International Conference on Vision, Image and Signal Processing, 2020
As a core of computer vision, image classification has become a hot topic in recent years. RNN framework can not only model sequence data, predict the trend of sequence data, but also show good results in image classification. In this paper, an improved model IndCRNN is proposed for the over-fitting phenomenon of Independent Recurrent Neural Network ...

On Signal Phase Based Modulation Classification

2011 IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC), 2011
We consider a phase based maximum likelihood (ML) approach for identifying the modulation format of a linearly modulated signal. Since the optimal ML scheme is computationally intensive, we propose two approximate ML alternatives derived from Gauss quadrature rules.

A set of features for classification of intrapulse modulations

2016 24th Signal Processing and Communication Application Conference (SIU), 2016
In modern electronic warfare environments radar emitters intentionally modify their pulse repetition intervals and intra-pulse parameters in specific patterns called modulation. While pulse repetition interval modulation serves for a hidden functional purpose of the emitter, intra-pulse modulation also known as pulse compression techniques makes it ...
