A Method of Non-Data-Aided Carrier Recovery with Modulation Identification [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
A non-data aided carrier recovery technique using modulation format identification is proposed. This technique can also be interpreted as a modulation identification method that is robust against static phase and frequency offsets. The performance of the

Modeling hepatic fibrosis in TP53 knockout iPSC‐derived human liver organoids

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study developed iPSC‐derived human liver organoids with TP53 gene knockout to model human liver fibrosis. These organoids showed elevated myofibroblast activation, early disease markers, and advanced fibrotic hallmarks. The use of profibrotic differentiation medium further amplified the fibrotic signature seen in the organoids.

Joint Symbol Rate-Modulation Format Identification and OSNR Estimation Using Random Forest Based Ensemble Learning for Intermediate Nodes

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2021
In this paper, a novel joint symbol rate-modulation format identification (SR-MFI) and optical signal-to-noise ratio (OSNR) estimation scheme using the low-bandwidth coherent detecting and random forest (RF)-based ensemble learning is proposed for ...

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Research on Intelligent Constellation Map Monitoring for Fiber Optic Communication Based on Small Sample Learning Network

open access: yesIEEE Access
In this study, we develop an intelligent constellation diagram monitoring method for fiber optic communications based on a small sample learning network. The method is designed to identify the modulation format, estimate the optical signal-to-noise ratio

A novel modulation format identification based on amplitude histogram space

open access: yesFrontiers of Optoelectronics, 2018
In this paper, we proposed a novel modulation format identification method for square M-quadrature amplitude modulation (M-QAM) signals which is based on amplitude histogram space of the incoming data after analog-to-digital conversion, chromatic dispersion compensation at the receiver.

CDK11 inhibition induces cytoplasmic p21WAF1 splice variant by p53 stabilisation and SF3B1 inactivation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

Modulation Format Identification Utilizing Polar-Coordinate-System-Based Features for Digital Coherent Receivers

open access: yesPhotonics
Modulation format identification (MFI) is one of the most critical functions embedded in digital coherent receivers in elastic optical networks (EONs).

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.
