Schemes of Line Modules I

Journal of the London Mathematical Society, 2002
It is proved that there exists a scheme that represents the functor of line modules over a graded algebra, and it is called the line scheme of the algebra. Its properties and its relationship to the point scheme are studied. If the line scheme of a quadratic, Auslander‐regular algebra of global dimension 4 has dimension 1, then it determines the ...

Adaptive modulation schemes

2009 IEEE/LEOS Summer Topical Meeting, 2009
In this presentation we will discuss recent advances in adaptive modulation schemes for ultra high bit capacity optical networks. This paper focuses on optimising the sub-carrier spacing for such high capacity networks..

Constrained rank modulation schemes

2013 IEEE Information Theory Workshop (ITW), 2013
Rank modulation schemes for non-volatile memories (NVMs) represent information by the relative rankings of cell charge levels. This approach has several benefits; in particular, the scheme resolves the “write-asymmetry” limitation that NVMs suffer from.

Vector Modulation Scheme using Three Phase Modulator

2019 International Conference on Numerical Simulation of Optoelectronic Devices (NUSOD), 2019
A novel optical I-Q modulator circuit consisting of three phase modulator in parallel is proposed. Theoretical analysis is done by the minimization of an error function of an under-determined system, which delivers specific optical phase relationship and modulation constraints to achieve I-Q modulation.

SMOOTH MORPHISMS OF MODULE SCHEMES

Proceedings of the London Mathematical Society, 2002
Let $\varphi:A\to B$ be a homomorphism of finite-dimensional algebras over an algebraically closed field and $\varphi^{(c)}:{\rm mod}_B^c\to{\rm mod}_A^c$ the induced morphism of the associated module schemes for any integer $c\geq 1$. We prove that if the induced functor ${\rm mod\,} B\to{\rm mod\,} A$ is hom-controlled then the restriction of ...

A group of modulation schemes for adaptive modulation

2008 11th IEEE Singapore International Conference on Communication Systems, 2008
Adaptive modulation increases the throughput of a wireless network by adjusting the modulation scheme to the channel status. To have more capacity and more flexibility in using adaptive modulation, our research attempts to find a group of modulation schemes, which includes M-QAM where the number of signal points is not a power of 2, as well as non ...

An adaptive modulation scheme in multicarrier modulation system

Proceedings 7th International Conference on Signal Processing, 2004. Proceedings. ICSP '04. 2004., 2005
An adaptive modulation scheme is applied in multicarrier modulation system to improve the system spectral efficiency along with unequal error protection (UEP) to meet the different quality of service (QoS) in transmitting data. Power control zone (PCZ) is employed to make the improvement of system performance in terms of average BER or BPS.

UNMASKING A MODULATED CHAOTIC COMMUNICATIONS SCHEME

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 1996
This paper will address the problem of unmasking a new chaotic communication scheme using synchronizing circuits, where the Lorenz system is modulated by the message and the x-coordinate of the modulated system is added to the message and transmitted to the receiver.
