This article provides a comprehensive overview of fundamentals and recent advances of transparent thin‐film surface acoustic wave technologies on glass substrates for monitoring and prevention/elimination of fog, ice, and frost. Fogging, icing, or frosting on optical lenses, optics/photonics, windshields, vehicle/airplane windows, and solar panel ...

Stabilization of moduli by fluxes [PDF]
AbstractIn order to fix the moduli, non‐trivial fluxes are an essential input. In this talk I summarize different aspects of compactifications in the presence of fluxes, as there is the relation to generalized Scherk‐Schwarz reductions and gauged supergravity, but also the description of flux‐deformed geometries in terms of G‐structures and intrinsic ...

Bistable Mechanisms 3D Printing for Mechanically Programmable Vibration Control
This work introduces a 3D‐printed bistable mechanism integrated into tuned mass dampers (TMDs) for mechanically adaptive passive vibration suppression. Through optimized geometry, the bistable design provides adaptable vibration reduction across a broad range of scenarios, achieving effective vibration mitigation without complex controls or external ...

On Weddle surfaces and their moduli [PDF]
Abstract The Weddle surface is classically known to be a birational (partially desingularized) model of the Kummer surface. In this note we go through its relations with moduli spaces of abelian varieties and of rank two vector bundles on a genus 2 curve.

In this manuscript, the processability of X2CrNiMo17‐12‐2 powder coated with silicon carbide, silicon, and silicon nitride nanoparticles is investigated. The amount of nanoparticles varies from 0.25 to 1 vol%. By coating the powder feedstock material with nanoparticles, an enlargement of the process window and an increase in the build rate are achieved.

Moduli Space in Homological Mirror Symmetry
We prove that the moduli space of the pseudo holomorphic curves in the A-model on a symplectic torus is homeomorphic to a moduli space of Feynman diagrams in the configuration space of the morphisms in the B-model on the corresponding elliptic curve ...

Special geometry on the moduli space for the two-moduli non-Fermat Calabi–Yau
We clarify the recently proposed method for computing a special Kähler metric on a Calabi–Yau complex structure moduli space using the fact that the moduli space is a subspace of a particular Frobenius manifold. We use this method to compute a previously

Deformation Behavior of La2O3‐Doped Copper during Equal Channel Angular Pressing
By additions of strengthening elements and/or structure optimization, the mechanical properties of copper can be increased while keeping favorable electric conductivity. By combining addition of La2O3 and processing by equal channel angular pressing, substructure development is achieved, leading to increase in microhardness to more than double the ...

We analyze string-theoretic large-field inflation in the regime of spontaneously-broken supergravity with conventional moduli stabilization by fluxes and non-perturbative effects. The main ingredient is a shift-symmetric Kähler potential, supplemented by
