A Characterization Theorem for the K-functional Associated with the Algebraic Version of Trigonometric Jackson Integrals [PDF]
2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 41A25, 41A36.The purpose of this paper is to present a characterization of a certain Peetre K-functional in Lp[−1,1] norm, for 1 ≤ p ≤ 2 by means of a modulus of smoothness.

The work demonstrates that strategic wall‐thickness grading in diamond triply periodic minimal surface lattices enables precise tuning of deformation and failure behavior under compression. Different gradation patterns guide how and where the structure collapses, improving energy absorption or promoting controlled brittle failure.

Realization and characterization of modulus of smoothness in weighted Lebesgue spaces [PDF]
We obtain a characterization of modulus of smoothnes of fractional order in the Lebesgue spaces \(L_{\omega}^{p}\), \(1 < p < \infty\), with weights \(\omega\) satisfying the Muckenhoupt’s \(A_{p}\) condition. Also, a realization result and equivalence between modulus of smoothness and the Peetre \(K\)-functional are proved in \(L_{\omega}^{p}\) for ...

Biofabrication aims at providing innovative technologies and tools for the fabrication of tissue‐like constructs for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. By integrating multiple biofabrication technologies, such as 3D (bio) printing with fiber fabrication methods, it would be more realistic to reconstruct native tissue's ...

Coating the standard polypropylene separator with a porous red phosphorous nanosheet greatly improves cycling performance in Li electrode cells. The phosphorus‐based surface chemistry deactivates electrolyte solvent decomposition and enhances the cleavage of F‐containing salt, resulting in an inorganic‐dominated electrolyte interphase (SEI) composition

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.
