Toward Pore‐Engineered 3D‐Printed Materials for Sorption Water Harvesting, Interfacial Evaporation, and Radiative Cooling

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Water harvesting, radiative cooling, and interfacial solar evaporation are fundamentally governed by coupled heat, mass, and light transport processes. These processes are mediated by pore architecture, including pore size, connectivity, and hierarchical organization.

Modulating metal-organic frameworks by surface engineering of stearic acid modification for follicular drug delivery and enhanced hair growth promotion

open access: yesJournal of Nanobiotechnology
Cyclodextrin metal-organic frameworks (CD-MOF) as delivery carriers have gained great attention in the biomedical field. However, limited by challenges of moisture-sensitive nature, the design and application of CD-MOF-based hair follicle delivery for ...

Lithography‐Compatible Conductive Metal–Organic Frameworks for Scalable Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Conductive MOF thin films are integrated as gate electrodes in semiconductor devices through a photolithography‐compatible patterning strategy. CVD‐grown 2D MOF thin films enable stable operation across bottom‐gate MoS2/MoTe2 field‐effect transistors and top‐gate IGZO arrays, highlighting the potential of conductive MOFs as functional electronic ...

Hydrogel-embedded vertically aligned metal-organic framework nanosheet membrane for efficient water harvesting

open access: yesNature Communications
Highly porous metal-organic framework (MOF) nanosheets have shown promising potential for efficient water sorption kinetics in atmospheric water harvesting (AWH) systems. However, the water uptake of single-component MOF absorbents remains limited due to

MOF-808/Polyamide Thin-Film Nanocomposite Membranes for Efficient Nanofiltration

open access: yes
Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) have attracted tremendous interest in preparing a thin-film nanocomposite (TFN) membrane. Especially, the membrane performance could be optimized by using MOFs as modifying agents, which takes advantage of their adjustable

Light‐Programmed Localized Supersaturation Enables Ambient Aqueous Synthesis of Highly Crystalline Metal–Organic Frameworks

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
In the proposed model, a photoinduced nanoreactor uses Cu2O self‐photooxidation to generate localized supersaturation. A metastable supersaturation state first forms a shell, creating a spatially confined environment that restricts reactant exchange; continued Cu release then drives the local environment toward a labile regime that favors predominantly

MOF-253-Supported Ru Complex for Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction by Coupling with Semidehydrogenation of 1,2,3,4-Tetrahydroisoquinoline (THIQ)

open access: yes, 2019
MOF-253 (Al(OH)(dcbpy), dcbpy = 2,2′-bipyridine-5,5′-dicarboxylic acid) obtained via a microwave-assisted synthesis was used for the construction of a supported Ru complex containing dcbpy (MOF-253-Ru(dcbpy)2) by coordinating its open N,N′-chelating ...

Framework Flexibility on Water Sorption and Transport in ZIF‐90: Insights from Neural‐Network Molecular Dynamics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
A DeepMD‐based molecular dynamics framework is developed to investigate water adsorption in ZIF‐90, explicitly accounting for framework flexibility. Results show that atomistic flexibility significantly influences adsorption energetics, diffusion, and structural correlations, yielding nearly constant heat of adsorption and enhanced mobility.
