In this work, we report the synthesis and characterization of biocatalysts prepared using MOF-199 and lipase from Pseudomonas cepacia as a support, an agent for the breakdown of saturated, monounsaturated, and polyunsaturated fatty acids, the main ...

Water Organization and Hydration‐Dependent Hydroxide Transport in Anion Exchange Membranes (AEM)
Hydroxide transport in anion exchange membranes is governed by the organization of water within the polymer rather than by hydration alone. A hydration‐window framework is presented to unify transport, swelling, and mechanical stability, providing guidance for designing durable membranes for fuel cells and other hydroxide‐based electrochemical ...

MOF-303 as an Effective Adsorbent to Clean CH4: SO2 Capture and Detection
Catalysts for the oxidation of CH4 commonly suffer from poisoning by sulfur-containing molecules, such as H2S and SO2. This is a huge problem in real energy applications.

Exchange‐Coupled Two‐Dimensional MOFs
Graphene mediates ferromagnetic coupling between two‐dimensional metal‐organic frameworks and cobalt. Fe‐tetracyanobenzene develops a remanent magnetic response whose orientation follows the cobalt magnetization direction and persists up to room temperature, whereas Ni‐TCNB remains only field‐polarized.

Fabrication methods and applications of metal-organic framework thin films
As one of the most promising nanomaterials, metal-organic framework (MOF) thin films (also known as surfacesupported MOF thin films, SURMOFs) have attracted much attention in recent years. The development of various synthetic methods makes it possible to

Nonthermal Plasma Synthesis of Ammonia over Ni-MOF-74
Herein, we demonstrate a synergistic approach with radiofrequency plasma to synthesize ammonia in the presence of Ni-MOF-74 as catalyst. The Ni-MOF displayed higher ammonia yields as compared to the pure Ni metal.
