Abstract The abundant and unpredictable use of fossil fuel accelerate the continuous search in that field of an alternative source. Most of the researchers are attracted to the solar power, that is one of therenewable and sustainable energy sources. Based on the current scenario, in futurethe energy requirement will be tremendously high.

Abstract Herbal industries are facing challenges while processing the herbal leaves. Herbal leaves are processed using various methods such as convection drying, chemical drying, vacuum drying, microwave drying, etc. The common issues encountered during the time of drying the herbal leaves are lost in phytochemicals, nutrients and colour.

Moisture removal rate from a swine nursery building
Journal of Agricultural Engineering Research, 1985Abstract A commercially operated, fully slotted floor nursery facility was monitored during the winter to determine the moisture removal rate of the ventilating air. Continuous recordings of the inside and outside air conditions and the airflow rate from the room were used to calculate room moisture production.

Calculation of Winter Ventilation Rates for Moisture Removal in Broiler Houses
Transactions of the ASAE, 1979ABSTRACT A computer program is presented for calculating winter ventilation rates in broiler houses. The model uses the dew point temperatures occurring with the daily high and low temperatures to calculate moisture removal.

In hot and humid climates such as in the Sultanate of Oman, the humidity puts extra load on the electric vapor-compression air conditioning (VAC) systems. Liquid and solid desiccants can reduce the moisture content of humid air and thus reduce the latent load imposed on the VAC systems.

In this study, an artificial neural network model is developed in order to predict the moister removal rate by a desiccant liquid dehumidifier system. This last can be used for air conditioning; it consists mainly of a dehumidifier, a regenerator, and a liquid desiccant.
