Crystallization Characteristics of CaO-Al2O3-Based Mold Flux and Their Effects on In-Mold Performance during High-Aluminum TRIP Steels Continuous Casting

open access: yesMetallurgical and Materials Transactions B, 2014
Crystallization behaviors of the newly developed lime-alumina-based mold fluxes for high-aluminum transformation induced plasticity (TRIP) steels casting were experimentally studied, and compared with those of lime-silica-based mold fluxes.

On‐treatment dynamics of circulating extracellular vesicles in the first‐line setting of patients with advanced non‐small cell lung cancer: the LEXOVE prospective study

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The LEXOVE prospective study evaluated plasma cell‐free extracellular vesicle (cfEV) dynamics using Bradford assay and dynamic light scattering in metastatic non‐small cell lung cancer patients undergoing first‐line treatments, correlating a ∆cfEV < 20% with improved median progression‐free survival in responders versus non‐responders.

Viscosity and Crystallization Behavior of F-free Mold Flux for Casting Medium Carbon Steels

open access: yes, 2015
Viscosity and crystallization are essential properties to characterize the lubrication and heat transfer performances of mold flux. Therefore, in this paper, the viscosity and crystallization behaviors of conventional F-containing commercial mold flux ...

Cellular liquid biopsy provides unique chances for disease monitoring, preclinical model generation and therapy adjustment in rare salivary gland cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We quantified and cultured circulating tumor cells (CTCs) of 62 patients with various cancer types and generated CTC‐derived tumoroid models from two salivary gland cancer patients. Cellular liquid biopsy‐derived information enabled molecular genetic assessment of systemic disease heterogeneity and functional testing for therapy selection in both ...

Enhancing the Product Quality of the Injection Process Using eXplainable Artificial Intelligence [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
The injection molding process is a traditional technique for making products in various industries such as electronics and automobiles via solidifying liquid resin into certain molds. Although the process is not related to creating the main part of engines or semiconductors, this manufacturing methodology sets the final form of the products. Re-cently,

Targeting rapid TKI‐induced AXL upregulation overcomes adaptive ERK reactivation and exerts antileukemic effects in FLT3/ITD acute myeloid leukemia

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Adaptive ERK reactivation hinders FLT3 tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) treatment in FLT3/ITD acute myeloid leukemia. Here, we report that FLT3 TKI treatment rapidly induces AXL expression and upregulation that is temporally associated with the adaptive ERK reactivation.

Combined spatially resolved metabolomics and spatial transcriptomics reveal the mechanism of RACK1‐mediated fatty acid synthesis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The authors analyzed the spatial distributions of gene and metabolite profiles in cervical cancer through spatial transcriptomic and spatially resolved metabolomic techniques. Pivotal genes and metabolites within these cases were then identified and validated.

Regularization by ε-metric [PDF]

open access: yesIzv. Akad. Nauk Mold. SSR, Ser. fiz.-tekhn. i mat. nauk, No 3 (1987) 8-17 (in Russian), 2019
The regularization of propagators by means of a complex metric is considered. (The paper is an English translation of the first of two articles in Russian published by the author in 1987-88: V.D. Ivashchuk, Regularization by {\epsilon}-metric. I, Izvestiya Akademii Nauk Moldavskoy SSR, Ser. Fiziko-tekhnicheskih i matematicheskih nauk, No 3, p.
