3D MC. II. X-Ray Echoes Reveal a Clumpy Molecular Cloud in the CMZ
X-ray observations collected over the past decades have revealed a strongly variable X-ray signal within the Milky Way’s Galactic center, interpreted as X-ray echoes from its supermassive black hole, Sgr A*.

Dissolvable microneedle (MN) device containing Bacillus paralicheniformis. The polymeric matrix encapsulates and protects the bacteria, preserving their viability while enabling in situ production and release of γ‐polyglutamic acid. The bacteria are delivered into the skin via 500 µm‐long microneedles, and remain detectable on the skin 24 h post ...

We develop a hydrogel scaffold with controlled substrate stiffness and ligand functionalization for cell culture. Stiff substrates presenting CD3/CD28/CD2 ligands induce 2000‐fold expansion of T cells; this is 68% greater than the clinical standard (Dynabeads) and the first hydrogel capable of large‐scale expansion. Although expanding at a lower yield,

Star formation in the high-extinction Planck cold clump PGCC G120.69+2.66
We investigate the star formation occurring in the Planck Galactic cold clump PGCC 120.69+2.66. Near-infrared JHKs images and K-band spectroscopy obtained with NOTCam at the Nordic Optical Telescope complemented with archive data are used to study the ...

Peculiar Dust Emission within the Orion Molecular Cloud
It is widely assumed that dust opacities in molecular clouds follow a power-law profile with an index, β . Recent studies of the Orion Molecular Cloud (OMC) 2/3 complex, however, show a flattening in the spectral energy distribution (SED) at λ > 2 mm ...

Microbubble Shell Stiffness Engineering Enhances Ultrasound Imaging, Drug Delivery, and Sonoporation
Shell‐engineered poly(alkyl cyanoacrylate) microbubbles with tunable stiffness improve ultrasound imaging and therapy. Adjusting the length of the alkyl chain and the glass transition temperature maintains a narrow microbubble size distribution while enhancing drug loading, sonoporation and the acoustic response.
