A subset of MMR‐proficient colon cancers responds to neoadjuvant immunotherapy
Tan et al. reveal that a distinct subset of early‐stage pMMR colon cancers can respond to neoadjuvant immunotherapy. In the NICHE‐2 trial, responders (26%) were characterized by chromosomal instability, TP53 mutations, and proliferative cell‐cycle programs, whereas nonresponders showed metabolic and stromal reprogramming with TGF‐β‐driven ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Impact of Molecular Descriptors on Computational Models
Methods in molecular biology, 2018Molecular descriptors encode a wide variety of molecular information and have become the support of many contemporary chemoinformatic and bioinformatic applications. They grasp specific molecular features (e.g., geometry, shape, pharmacophores, or atomic properties) and directly affect computational models, in terms of outcome, performance, and ...

Topological study on degree based molecular descriptors of fullerene cages
Molecular Physics, 2023Fullerenes are an allotrope of carbon that create polyhedral cages. Their bond structures match the sole pentagon and hexagonal-faced planar cubic graphs. Several chemical properties of fullerenes can be studied using its graph structure.
