Computational modeling for rational designing of imprinted polymers for herbicides: a review

open access: yesThe Indian Journal of Agricultural Sciences, 2019
Herbicides, the most widely used agrochemicals, have high solubility in water which poses threat to aquatic life and human health along with different sources of water. Therefore, selective, simple and reliable methods for detection as well as removal of

Guest‐Induced Activation of Multicolor Photoluminescence in Naphthalene Bisimide Liquid Crystals

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Supramolecular host–guest design in naphthalene bisimide liquid crystals activates charge‐transfer emission and enables continuous tuning of color (511–685 nm) and lifetime, spanning prompt fluorescence, TADF, and RTP. Electron‐rich guests and Pt(II) complexes modulate emissive states, while co‐assembled NBI complexes create an energy‐transfer cascade ...

Emergent Freestanding Complex Oxide Membranes for Multifunctional Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review surveys freestanding oxide membranes and covers fabrication and three pathways for studies and devices: strain‐free and strained membranes, and van der Waals‐integrated heterostructures. We show how coupled oxide responses map onto these routes and cross‐couple to expand behaviors.

Opportunities for Multiscale Pattern Modulation with Temporally Arrested Breath Figures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This works presents the temporally arrested breath figure methodology and its opportunities for pattern modulation. Through thermodynamic and photochemical phase change handles, this method uses drop‐wise condensation as a dynamic template for fast, accessible and scalable micropatterning.

Molecularly Imprinted Membranes

open access: yesMembranes, 2012
Although the roots of molecularly imprinted polymers lie in the beginning of 1930s in the past century, they have had an exponential growth only 40–50 years later by the works of Wulff and especially by Mosbach.

Molecular Imprinted Polymer for a Purfication Device [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Medical Devices, 2009
Molecular imprinting is a well established technology that mimics biological recognition systems using artificial materials. This involves synthesizing a nanostructured polymeric host in the presence of a target molecule to generate complementary binding sites that are selective for a molecule of interest. The technique offers a platform for developing
