Statistical tests of molecular phylogenies.
Methods in enzymology, 1990This chapter provides a summary of methods for testing the significance of inferred phylogenies. In terms of parsimony a nucleotide site is informative (useful) for choosing among the three trees only if it is in the same state in two of the four species and in another state in the other two species.

Molecular Phylogeny of the Animal Kingdom
Science, 1988A rapid sequencing method for ribosomal RNA was applied to the resolution of evolutionary relationships among Metazoa. Representatives of 22 classes in 10 animal phyla were used to infer phylogenetic relationships, based on evolutionary distances determined from pairwise comparisons of the 18 S ribosomal RNA ...

A molecular phylogeny of thermophilic fungi
Fungal Biology, 2012Sequences from 86 fungal genomes and from the two outgroup genomes Arabidopsis thaliana and Drosophila melanogaster were analyzed to construct a robust molecular phylogeny of thermophilic fungi, which are potentially rich sources of industrial enzymes.

A molecular phylogeny of Pythium insidiosum
Mycological Research, 2003Sequence analysis of the ribosomal DNA internal transcribed spacers (ITS) was used to establish phylogenetic relationships among 23 isolates of Pythium insidiosum, the etiological agent of pythiosis in mammals. The isolates were divided into three distinct clades that exhibited significant geographic isolation. Clade I consisted of isolates from North,

Molecular phylogeny of Arthrotardigrada (Tardigrada)
Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution, 2010Tardigrades are microscopic ecdysozoans with a worldwide distribution covering marine, limnic and terrestrial habitats. They are regarded as a neglected phylum with regard to studies of their phylogeny. During the last decade molecular data have been included in the investigation of tardigrades.

Molecular phylogeny of Paraonidae (Annelida)
Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution, 2019A molecular phylogeny of the family Paraonidae was reconstructed on the basis of 16S rDNA, COI and 18S rDNA sequences obtained from 66 individuals belonging to 38 nominal species and subspecies. In agreement with previous findings, Paraonidae represent a monophyletic group, closely related to Sternaspidae.
