A new series solution of Molodensky's problem
Bulletin géodésique, 1970A complete series solution of Molodensky's boundary-value problem is derived using, instead of an integral equation, analytical continuation by means of power series. This solution is shown to be equivalent, term by term, to the Molodensky-Brovar series, but is simpler and practically more convenient.

Molodensky’s problem in gravity space: A review of the first results
Bulletin Géodésique, 1978In the last year a new formulation of Molodensky’s problem has been given, in which the gravity vector \(\vec g\) has been considered as the independent variable of the problem, while the position vector \(\vec x\) is the dependent. This new approach has the great advantage to transform the problem of Molodensky which is of free boundary type, into a ...

Fast Numerical Solution of the Vector Molodensky Problem
When standard boundary element methods (BEM) are used in order to solve the linearized vector Molodensky problem we are confronted with two problems: (i) the absence of O (|x|-2) terms in the decay condition is not taken into account, since the single layer ansatz, which is commonly used as representation of the disturbing potential, is of the order O (
