Revalidation of Promops davisoni Thomas (Molossidae)
2010(Uploaded by Plazi for the Bat Literature Project) This paper focuses on the study of inter- and intraspecific variation within the genus Promops in order to evaluate the taxonomic status of some taxa, particularly P. davisoni Thomas, 1921. We analyzed 183 specimens representing all nominal taxa described for the genus, and studied pelage and ...

Phylogeny of Molossidae Gervais (Mammalia: Chiroptera) inferred by morphological data
Cladistics, 2015AbstractMolossidae is a large (roughly 100 species) pantropically distributed clade of swift aerially insectivorous bats for which the phylogeny remains relatively unknown and little studied compared with other speciose groups of bats. We investigated phylogenetic relationships among 62 species, representing all extant molossid genera and most of the ...

The systematic and historical status of the Florida Eumops (Chiroptera, Molossidae).
1971(Uploaded by Plazi for the Bat Literature Project) Specimens of Eumops from Florida that have been identified as E. glaucinus are shown to be markedly larger than tropical American material of that species. The Recent Florida specimens show good agreement, however, with the Florida Pleistocene E. fioridanus.
