A stable Ti3C2Clx/Ti3ZnC2 heterostructure, fabricated by dynamic etching, exhibits outstanding electrocatalytic NRR activity (NH3 yield: 20.1 µg h−1 mg−1, FE: 38.1%) in alkaline media. The corresponding Zn‐N2 battery achieves a peak power density of 36.5 µW cm−2 and an NH3 yield of 13.1 µg h−1 mg−1, providing an advanced strategy for NH3 and ...

How can Sn‐based anodes achieve high capacity and long‐life cycling? This work unlocks the potential anode structure by confining Sn in the A layer of MAX phase with Ti6C octahedra as outer immobilization and Fe as inner anchors. The introduction of Fe dramatically strengthens the Ti–Sn bond to enhance structural integrity, modulate interfacial ...

The action spectrum of a tailored azobenzene is shifted toward bio‐optical window through the chemical modification of its singlet and triplet energy levels. Consequently, the bidirectional photo‐switching of azobenzene in physiological conditions is achieved when excited by red and far‐red light, which offers greater tissue penetration.

Progress in R&D of Molten Salt Electrolytes for Molten Salt Batteries
Increasing share of the intermittent renewable energy resources from PV and wind energy in the energy system has led to much progress in research and development in large scale batteries like molten salt batteries (MSBs) [1-6] for grid storage. Compared to other batteries like Li-ion batteries, MSBs (e.g., ZEBRA (Na-NiCl2) battery [2-3] and liquid ...
