Roasting Kinetics of Molybdenite Concentrates

Molybdenum is a refractory metal that has melting point at ~2610 °C. It has high modulus of elasticity even at elevated temperatures. Almost 80% of molybdenum is used as alloying element for ferromolybdenum. When added to steel, molybdenum increases strength hardenability, toughness, elevated temperature strength and corrosion resistance.
