Catalytic Sulfur‐Atom Transfer Enabled by a Bis(disulfide) Titanium Complex

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
Multi‐electron transformations with titanium are underexplored due to limited access to low‐valent precursors. The four‐electron activation of elemental sulfur by a Ti(IV) complex yields a rare titanium bis(disulfide) complex, enabling the efficient catalytic synthesis of isothiocyanates from isonitriles under mild conditions.

Radiative Hybrid Nanofluid Flow Over a Porous Riga Surface: A Fuzzy–ANN Modeling Approach

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study proposes a fuzzy–ANN model to investigate the nonlinear thermal transport in a tangent hyperbolic (Tanh) hybrid nanofluid flow past a porous Riga surface, considering the effects of Rosseland diffusion, chemical reactions, and internal volumetric heating.

Effect of UHMWPE Incorporation on the Tribological Performance of Carbon fiber‐Reinforced PEEK Nanocomposites

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, EarlyView.
UHMWPE provides interfacial lubrication, improving tribological performance of PEEK‐based sliding bearing bushings. ABSTRACT Ultra‐high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) was incorporated into a PEEK‐based hybrid material as a lubrication additive to improve the friction and wear performance of the composite due to its superior lubricity ...

Optimized Wavy Thermal Radiative Analysis of Electrochemically Ternary Hybrid Nanomaterials Affected by an Induced Magnetic Force: An ANN‐Based Levenberg–Marquardt Backpropagation Approach

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
This diagram illustrates the wavy flow configuration of the model in a Cartesian coordinate system. It represents the heat and mass transfer characteristics of ternary hybrid nanofluids over a vertically wavy surface in the presence of an induced magnetic field and double‐diffusive mixed convection.

Disulfide Bond–Modified Proteomics Reveals the Effects of Riboflavin on Protein Folding Dynamics

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
Riboflavin deficiency impairs oxidative protein folding, causing ER misfolded protein accumulation, CHOP activation, and apoptosis, revealing a role of riboflavin in proteostasis. ABSTRACT Riboflavin is a crucial micronutrient essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis, acting as an important precursor for flavoproteins that utilize flavin ...
