STUDY OF POTASSIUM INTERCALATION IN TO THE GRAPHENE/MoS2 STRUCTURE
Using modern ab-initio calculations, in this work, we systematically studied the intercalation of potassium atoms into a hybrid two-layer graphene/ MoS2 structure. In the course of the study, concentrations of potassium atoms were determined at which the

Pure and stable metallic phase molybdenum disulfide nanosheets for hydrogen evolution reaction
Metallic molybdenum disulfide is a metastable phase of the material. Here, the authors synthesize two-dimensional metallic molybdenum disulfide nanosheets, stabilized by adsorbed aqueous monolayers, and evaluate their catalytic hydrogen evolution ...

DNA strands are employed both as dynamic linkers and nanoscale templates for the integration of Ag2S nanoparticles on MoS2, which in turn imparted photothermal responsiveness; this feature permits the selective cargo (fluorophore, quantum dots or an enzyme) release from the MoS2 surface in response to local heat induced by light irradiation.

In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Integration of Low‐Voltage Nanoscale MoS2 Memristors on CMOS Microchips
This article presents the first monolithic integration of nanoscale MoS2‐based memristors into the back‐end‐of‐line of foundry‐fabricated CMOS microchips in a one‐transistor‐one‐resistor (1T1R) architecture. The MoS2‐based 1T1R cells exhibit forming‐free, nonvolatile resistive switching with ultra‐low operating voltages, low cycle‐to‐cycle variability ...

Preparation and Properties of Mesoporous Carbon Composite as Negative Electrode Materials
Using sodium lignosulfonate as carbon source, microspheres were prepared by ultrasound. Molybdenum disulfide was synthesized directly by hydrothermal method and grown on the surface of lignin microspheres.

Velocity‐Tunable Exciton‐Photon Hybridization in Cathodoluminescence
Transition‐radiation resonances in suspended thin crystals hybridise with excitonic transitions under free‐electron excitation. By tuning the electron energy, the photonic resonances are continuously detuned across the exciton states, enabling controllable exciton–photon hybridisation below the diffraction limit without altering the system geometry ...
