Areal moments of inertia revisited: on the distinction between the principal directions [PDF]
Three commonly used methods to determine the principal moments of inertia of a plane area and their directions are based on: (i) the stationarity condition for the axial moment of inertia, (ii) the eigenvalue analysis, and (iii) Mohr’s circle.

Dynamic Coordination Mechanism of DFIGs Based on Inertia Response
Large-scale wind power integration occupies the capacity space of synchronous generators with moments of inertia and weakens the inertia level and frequency regulation ability of the power system.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Chaos in the reorientation process of a dual spin spacecraft with time dependent moments of inertia. [PDF]
We study the spin-up dynamics of a dual-spin spacecraft containing one axisymmetric rotor which is parallel to one of the principal axes of the spacecraft.

Ground state moments of inertia of deformed nuclei around barium
Ground state moments of inertia and collective gyromagnetic ratios of deformed even nuclei with 50 < Z, N < 82 are calculated in the cranking-model approximation. Rather good agreement with experimental values of the moments of inertia is obtained.

ON ROTATIONAL INVARIANCE OF HIGHER-ORDER MOMENTS OF REGULAR POLYHEDRA
This paper covers aspects of establishing a relationship between the highest-order rotation-invariant moments of inertia and the order of symmetry of Platonic polyhedra. Moments of inertia about arbitrary, but centroidal axes are considered.

On Minimal Moment of Inertia Polyominoes [PDF]
We analyze the moment of inertia I(S), relative to the center of gravity, of finite plane lattice sets S. We classify these sets according to their roundness: a set S is rounder than a set T if I(S) < I(T). We show that roundest sets of a given size are strongly convex in the discrete sense.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.
