Nonperturbative estimate of the heavy quark momentum diffusion coefficient [PDF]
We estimate the momentum diffusion coefficient of a heavy quark within a pure SU(3) plasma at a temperature of about 1.5Tc. Large-scale Monte Carlo simulations on a series of lattices extending up to 192^3*48 permit us to carry out a continuum extrapolation of the so-called colour-electric imaginary-time correlator.

Diffusion and Superdiffusion in Lattice Models for Colliding Particles with Stored Momentum [PDF]
Abstract We introduce two discrete models of a collection of colliding particles with stored momentum and study the asymptotic growth of the mean-square displacement of an active particle. We prove that the models are superdiffusive in one dimension (with power law correction) and diffusive in three and higher dimensions.

Non-diffusive angular momentum transport in rotating -pinches [PDF]
The stability of conducting Taylor–Couette flows under the presence of toroidal magnetic background fields is considered. For strong enough magnetic amplitudes such magnetohydrodynamic flows are unstable against non-axisymmetric perturbations which may also transport angular momentum.

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.
