Which Chromium–Sulfur Compounds Exist as 2D Material?
2D chromium sulfides synthesized using molecular beam epitaxy on graphene. Structural characterization reveals two novel 2D materials, Cr2S3‐2D, which lacks a direct bulk counterpart, and Cr223S${\rm Cr}_{2\frac{2}{3}}{\rm S}$4‐2D, a minimum thickness version of Cr5S6. However, attempts to synthesize CrS2 are unsuccessful. Both new 2D phases are stable

Inertial frames without the relativity principle
Ever since the work of von Ignatowsky circa 1910 it has been known (if not always widely appreciated) that the relativity principle, combined with the basic and fundamental physical assumptions of locality, linearity, and isotropy, leads almost uniquely ...

Synchrotron Radiation for Quantum Technology
Materials and interfaces underpin quantum technologies, with synchrotron and FEL methods key to understanding and optimizing them. Advances span superconducting and semiconducting qubits, 2D materials, and topological systems, where strain, defects, and interfaces govern performance.

Production and decay of radion in Randall-Sundrum model at a photon collider [PDF]
A warped extra dimension model predicts an extra scalar particle beyond the Standard Model which is called a radion. Although interactions of the radion are similar to those of the Higgs boson in the Standard Model, a relatively light radion ($\lesssim ...

This work addresses the challenge of current–voltage asymmetry in scalable laminated semitransparent organic photovoltaics (OPVs) for indoor applications. Vertical stratification of materials is shown to create an energy barrier, leading to performance differences under different illumination directions.
