In this paper, a nonparametric method, the Artificial Neural Network (ANN), was used for analyzing 50 stocks, which are included in the calculation base of the MICEX stock index. This method allowed us to use not only macroeconomic and technical factors,

Testing the Profitability of Technical Analysis as a Portfolio Selection Strategy [PDF]
One of the main diffculties in evaluating the profits obtained using technical analysis is that trading rules are often specifed rather vaguely by practitioners and depend upon the judicious choice of rule parameters.

FEWZ 2.0: A code for hadronic Z production at next-to-next-to-leading order
We introduce an improved version of the simulation code FEWZ (Fully Exclusive W and Z Production) for hadron collider production of lepton pairs through the Drell-Yan process at next-to-next-to-leading-order (NNLO) in the strong coupling constant.

Dual Optical Hyperbolicity of PdCoO2 and PdCrO2 Delafossite Single Crystals
In this work, the hyperbolic response of PdCoO₂ and PdCrO₂ delafossites is investigated for the first time. They exhibit dual hyperbolic regimes, one localized around a phonon absorption in the mid‐infrared spectral region, and the other extending into the visible range.

The impact of reform on economic growth in China: A principal component analysis [PDF]
The study decomposes the sources of Chinese growth by first making a distinction between technological progress and technical efficiency in the growth accounting framework, and then identifying a series of reform programmes, such as urbanization ...

Rest frame of bubble nucleation
Vacuum bubbles nucleate at rest with a certain critical size and subsequently expand. But what selects the rest frame of nucleation? This question has been recently addressed in [1] in the context of Schwinger pair production in 1+1 dimensions, by using ...

Direct Evidence of Topological Dirac Fermions in a Low Carrier Density Correlated 5d Oxide
The 5d oxide BiRe2O6 is discovered as a low‐carrier‐density topological semimetal hosting symmetry‐protected Dirac fermions stabilized by nonsymmorphic symmetries. Angle‐resolved photoemission spectroscopy, quantum oscillations, and magnetotransport measurements reveal gapless Dirac cones, quasi‐2D Fermi surfaces, high carrier mobility, and a field ...

Fermi Surface Nesting and Anomalous Hall Effect in Magnetically Frustrated Mn2PdIn
Mn2PdIn, a frustrated inverse Heusler alloy, showing electronic‐structure driven anomalous Hall effect with Weyl crossings, Fermi‐surface nesting and near‐zero magnetization ideal for low‐magnetization spintronics. Abstract Noncollinear magnets with near‐zero net magnetization and nontrivial bulk electronic topology hold significant promise for ...

Momentum-based variance reduction in non-convex SGD [PDF]
Variance reduction has emerged in recent years as a strong competitor to stochastic gradient descent in non-convex problems, providing the first algorithms to improve upon the converge rate of stochastic gradient descent for finding first-order ...

Two‐dimensional electronic states are the foundation of modern semiconductor technology. Here, we report molecular‐beam epitaxy growth of fractional double perovskite, EuTa2O6. Reciprocal space mapping and transmission electron microscopy confirm a layered ordering of A‐site cations.
