A Possible Radiation-Induced Transition from Monazite-(Ce) to Xenotime-(Y) [PDF]
This study examines two pegmatitic monazite samples (2a and 4b, these numbers are related to a previous study) to determine their crystal chemistry and effects of internal radiation damage using synchrotron high-resolution powder X-ray diffraction and electron-probe micro-analysis. Both the huttonite and cheralite substitutions are discussed.

Synthesize of Poly (acrylamide-co-itaconic/TiO2) Nanocomposite for Ce(III) Sorption from Monazite Leachate [PDF]
In this study, Acrylamide (AAM), Itaconic acid (IA) and nano TiO2 were copolymerized using gamma irradiation with 60Co γ-rays at a dose of 25 KGy to form poly (acrylamide-co-Itaconic acid/TiO2) (P(AAM-co-IA/TiO2)). Different compositions of P(AAM-co-IA/TiO2) nanocomposites are prepared and examined for Ce(III) sorption.

Garnet–monazite rare earth element relationships in sub-solidus metapelites: a case study from Bhutan [PDF]
A key aim of modern metamorphic geochronology is to constrain precise and accurate rates and timescales of tectonic processes. One promising approach in amphibolite and granulite-facies rocks links the geochronological information recorded in zoned ...
