Recurrent bacterial meningitis caused by incomplete Type I inner ear malformation: A case report

open access: yesIbrain, Volume 10, Issue 2, Page 231-237, Summer 2024.
This case is a young female patient. When she was 7 years old, she began to have recurrent headaches, then, after 5 years, she also began to have chest and back pain. Investigating earthquake legacy effect on hillslope deformation using InSAR‐derived time series

open access: yesEarth Surface Processes and Landforms, Volume 49, Issue 3, Page 980-990, 15 March 2024.
InSAR‐derived hillslope deformations generated for the area affected by the 2017 Nyingchi earthquake show that the average post‐seismic hillslope deformation is still higher than its pre‐seismic counterpart approximately 4.5 years after the earthquake.

Hearing results of patients with Mondini malformation after cochlear implantation

open access: yes, 2006

Mondini-like malformation mimicking otosclerosis and superior semicircular canal dehiscence.

open access: yes, 2006
In 2003, it was reported that superior semicircular canal dehiscence can mimic otosclerosis because of low-frequency bone conduction hearing gain and dissipation of air-conducted acoustic energy through the dehiscence. We report the case of a 17-year-old

Mass and count nouns show distinct EEG cortical processes during an explicit semantic task

open access: yes, 2005
Tapping the time course of their processing seems a good way to distinguish the categories of mass and count nouns. In fact, since these noun categories designate most of the known world, they are likely to overlap quite extensively in brain space.
