Effectiveness and Safety of Upadacitinib Induction Therapy for 223 Patients With Crohn's Disease: A GETAID Multicentre Cohort Study

In a real‐world cohort of 223 highly refractory Crohn's disease patients, upadacitinib induction resulted in a clinical response in about two‐thirds of patients and in steroid‐free clinical remission in half of the patients, with an acceptable safety profile at week 12. Globally, sickle cell disease (SCD) is the most common inherited haemoglobinopathy. The highest burden of SCD is encountered in low‐ and middle‐income countries (LMICs), most of which lack the resources to contend with the disease. Blood transfusion remains central to the emergent treatment and prevention of complications of SCD.

NEUROMYODredger: Whole Exome Sequencing for the Diagnosis of Neurodevelopmental and Neuromuscular Disorders in Seven Countries

NEUROMYODredger‐3billion Megaproject was created to provide a genetic diagnosis for 245 children and adults with neurologic disorders in seven countries for free. With whole exome sequencing on a single patient, we could end the diagnostic odyssey in around 30% of cases.
