Migrant Top Management Team and Corporate Innovation: Evidence From China
ABSTRACT This study explores the association between top management teams (TMT) comprised of migrant managers (migrant TMT) and corporate innovation. Using hand‐collected data for a sample of Chinese A‐share listed firms spanning the period 2008–2020, we find a positive and significant association between a migrant TMT and corporate innovation.

Fugitive or orphan? The Shanghai yen in the early days of the Sino‐Japanese war, 1938–1939
Abstract We explore a phenomenon observed during the Second Sino‐Japanese War in which the value of the yen in Shanghai fell below the official rate. Shanghai provided a parallel market in which yen could be traded indirectly against British pounds through the intermediation of the Chinese yuan.

ABSTRACT Using a new indicator of government quality, two different indicators of educational performance and two different datasets covering up to 120 countries, this study finds robust evidence that a higher quality of government improves educational performance.

Words adoption is one of the ways to enrich the vocabulary in all languages of the world. Moreover, it is considered to be one of the core vocabulary parts of the languages. Collective nouns of Turkish and Mongolian languages possess a significant role in Tajik lexis.
