Der Anaesthesist, 1998In this article current indications and limitations of neuromuscular monitoring are reviewed. Attention is mainly focused on detection of residual curarisation. New insights in the pathophysiological consequences of residual neuromuscular blockade and the actual criteria of complete recovery are discussed.

2009Peripheral (non-cardiac) endovascular interventions have penetrated the field of vascular surgery, and it is the standard of care in many occasions. Compared to traditional open peripheral operations, the minimal access and image-guided interventions have many advantages including shorter hospital stay and faster patient recovery.

Cusum procedure for monitoring variability
Communications in Statistics - Theory and Methods, 1997In this paper, a CUSUM procedure is given for monitoring for a decrease in the variance (process improvement) as well as a two-sided CUSUM which monitors for both increases and decreases in the variance. The observations are assumed to be independent and normally distributed.
