A monitoring system for NoCs

Proceedings of the Third International Workshop on Network on Chip Architectures, 2010
In this paper, we propose and discuss a monitoring architecture for Networks-on-Chip (NoCs) that provides system information useful for helping designers in efficiently exploiting resources available in new complex Multiprocessor System-on-Chip (MPSoC) platforms, and in understanding their behavior. We focus on the analysis of the architectural details

Monitoring Requirements in Systems of Systems

IEEE Software, 2016
Developers of systems of systems (SoSs) face challenges such as heterogeneous, inconsistent, and changing elements; continuous evolution and deployment; decentralized control; and inherently conflicting and often unknowable requirements. In response to these challenges, researchers are developing the ReMinds tool.

Power-system monitoring

Microprocessors, 1977
Abstract A simple and inexpensive method of monitoring the steadystate behaviour of power systems is presented. The method assumes that the voltage and current waveforms are sinusoidal and measures the peak values and the phase angle. An efficient analogue-to-digital subroutine developed in the course of this work is described.

Monitoring distributed systems

IEEE Network, 1993
It is suggested that a functional model of monitoring in terms of the generation, processing, dissemination, and presentation of information can help determine the facilities needed to design and construct distributed systems. Implementation issues are also discussed, with attention given to the intrusiveness of monitoring systems and object-based ...

SmartGarbage Monitoring System

Proceedings of the 7th International Conference on Computing Communication and Networking Technologies, 2016
A healthy environment is imperative to a healthy and happy community. With the age old system of hiring people to regularly check and empty filled dustbins, the process has been prone to human error and neglect. Additionally, due to different frequency of usage of dustbins in different areas, routine checks which are based on time crevices is ...

Earthquake monitoring system

2017 IEEE International Symposium on Consumer Electronics (ISCE), 2017
Earthquake monitoring system was developed to give a freedom for civilian to monitor the recent activity of the earthquake and be alerted with the upcoming earthquake. Node-Red is used as the programming tool of this project. The data from webserver of European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) will be sent to Node-Red software and a newsfeed ...

The neurotron monitor system

Proceedings of the May 16-18, 1972, spring joint computer conference on - AFIPS '72 (Spring), 1971
The subject of performance monitoring and measurement has grown from infancy to childhood, and with this growth came substantial performance improvements even with superficial monitoring analysis. The recent increased interest in applying measurement techniques by manufacturers and users of large systems stems mainly from the high cost of development ...
