To evaluate the feasibility, the efficiency, the results of continent cystostomy in adult population.Retrospective study of patients who underwent a continent cystostomy between 1987 and 2011.Forty-three patients underwent a continent cystostomy (13 men and 30 women). The mean age at surgery was 53.4±14.6years. The mean BMI was 25kg/m(2).

Dicentric and monocentric Robertsonian translocations in man

5 balanced Robertsonian translocations in man were identified by fluorescence studies. Orcein staining showed two distinct centromeres in 4 of these cases (tdic(13;13), tdic(13;14), tdic(15;21), tdic(21;22)) indicating breaks in the short arms of the involved chromosomes.

The Burch design of two concentric spherical mirrors is a simple relay system that is often used in the infrared region. It is corrected for third-order spherical aberration, coma, and astigmatism. For really fast speeds, however, its performance is limited by higher-order spherical aberration.
