RETRACTED: Clinical effectiveness and treatment satisfaction between two triple‐therapy regimens in treating neuropathic pain: A real‐world data

open access: yesIbrain, EarlyView., 2023
This study compared the clinical effectiveness and treatment satisfaction of Pregabalin and Gabapentin triple therapy for neuropathic pain in a real‐world setting. The primary outcome measured the reduction in mean Self‐Administered Leeds Assessment of Neuropathic Symptoms and Signs pain score value from baseline to 12 weeks posttreatment.

Meiosis Progression and Recombination in Holocentric Plants: What Is Known?

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science, 2021
Differently from the common monocentric organization of eukaryotic chromosomes, the so-called holocentric chromosomes present many centromeric regions along their length.

Modeling and analysis of a monocentric multi-scale optical system

open access: yesOptics Express, 2020
A monocentric lens combined with a multi-scale form can achieve a large field of view while maintaining the resolution. This report describes an analytical model that is suitable for both Galilean- and Keplerian-type monocentric multi-scale (MMS) systems; this model also analyzes the correlation between the two types of systems.

Testing the monocentric standard urban model in a global sample of cities

open access: yesRegional Science and Urban Economics, 2022
Using a unique dataset containing gridded data on population densities, rents, housing sizes, and transportation in 192 cities worldwide, we investigate the empirical relevance of the monocentric standard urban model (SUM). Overall, the SUM seems surprisingly capable of capturing the inner structure of cities, both in developed and developing countries.

Spatiotemporal evolution of urban populations and housing: A dynamic utility-driven market-mediated model.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2023

Defining Urban Centres using Alternative Data Sets

open access: yesFindings, 2019
In growing cities, the evolution of urban form is partially motivated in principle by travel distance benefits. Evidence from travel data can support the categorisation of activity organisation as monocentric, polycentric or dispersed.

Stretching the Rules: Monocentric Chromosomes with Multiple Centromere Domains [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The centromere is a functional chromosome domain that is essential for faithful chromosome segregation during cell division and that can be reliably identified by the presence of the centromere-specific histone H3 variant CenH3.
